NAPA celebrated Vietnam Teacher’s Day 20/11

On November 20th 2017, National Academy of Public Administration celebrated the 35th Vietnam Teacher’s Day. Presented in the ceremony were Mr. Le Vinh Tan, Minister of Home Affairs; Mr. Trieu Van Cuong, Vice Minister of Home Affairs; Mr. Nguyen Duy Thang, Vice Minister of Home Affairs; Dr. Dang Xuan Hoan, NAPA President; Representatives of departments, ministries; NAPA staff, lecturers and students.

Dr. Dang Xuan Hoan summarized the history of NAPA’s lecturers. There were challenges and difficulties but they still make effort to continue with their path. The contribution of NAPA’s lecturers is essential for the development of the institution. Generations of lecturers of the Academy are examples of intellectual and personality, they trained generations of students not only with deep knowledge but also with their heart. On behalf of NAPA, Dr. Dang Xuan Hoan thanked NAPA’s lecturers for their contribution to the training activities of NAPA till now.

Dr. Dang Xuan Hoan also emphasized that the 4th industrial revolution creates many opportunities and challenges. Knowledge is created faster but also become quickly outdated. People have more opportunities to have access to knowledge. However, the essential role of the lecturer is never change and it’s an important factor of training quality. In order for NAPA to become a leading national center for public administration training, each lecturer has to constantly strive for the best in the politics quality, morals and lifestyles, to be well-qualified, well-versed in culture, psychology and teaching skills in order to meet the requirement of Vietnam’s education development and international standards. Dr. Dang Xuan Hoan also thanked Mr. Le Vinh Tan, Minister of Home Affairs, departments, agencies and local authorities for their support on NAPA training activities.

Mr. Le Vinh Tan also shared his thoughts, feelings and gratitude to NAPA lecturers. In addition, the Minister also mentioned that NAPA should continue to pay attention to training for lecturer as well as gathering the support and assistance of professors and scientists who are collaborating with the Academy. Mr. Le Vinh Tan believed that NAPA will continue developing which contribute to the training of high quality human resources in the public sector.

On this occasion, NAPA also commended individuals and collectives who have made outstanding achievements related to NAPA training activities.
