On November 24th 2017, National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) organized the closing ceremony of the public management training course for civil servants 2017.
Presented in the ceremony were Dr. Claudia N. Avellanneda and Dr. Kerry Krutilla from Indiana University; Dr. Hoang Quang Dat, Dean of Public Servant Training faculty, NAPA; Ms. Pham Thi Quynh Hoa, Director of International Cooperation Department, NAPA; Mr. Bui Huy Tung, Director of General Office, NAPA; and 27 course participants who are civil servants from 9 central agencies and 14 local authorities.
The training course was organized from November 5th 2017 to November 24th 2017. It is the first training course organized by NAPA which has both domestic and overseas training. Participants had the opportunity to visit South Korean agencies and localities for the exposure trip, including Asian Development Institute, Seoul National University; National Human Resources Development Institute; Korean Institute of Public Administration; Ministry of Personnel Management and others.
During the training course, professionals from America, France, Vietnam and South Korea introduced 14 topics related to reform process and country modernization; public governance; local governance; government system; human resource management and development; public management experience; policy formulation and implementation; development and implementation of e-governance in South Korea and Vietnam.
