Students and Trainees of State Management and Public Management Majors visit the National Assembly House

As part of the extracurricular program for State Management students and Public Management trainees with the theme “The National Assembly in Me,” on August 6, 2024, the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA), organized a field trip to the National Assembly House.

The field trip to the National Assembly House was led by Dr. Truong Quoc Viet, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, along with 50 outstanding State Management students and Public Management trainees. The delegation was introduced to the organization and activities of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam by the leaders and officials of the Department of Information, National Assembly Office, and toured the Traditional Chamber and the Underground Archaeological Discovery Exhibition.

Through the field trip, lecturers and students from the Faculty of Administrative Sciences were able to update their practical knowledge and experience the activities of the National Assembly. This helped bridge the gap between theory and practice, deepening their understanding of the role and position of the National Assembly as the highest representative body of the people and the supreme state authority of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.

In addition, as part of the “The National Assembly in Me” activities, students from the Faculty of Administrative Studies and the Administration Club organized a “Model National Assembly” forum and specialized meetings introducing the organization and activities of the National Assembly. Through these experiential activities, students assumed various roles and participated in parliamentary sessions. This encouraged and motivated them to link theoretical knowledge with practical applications related to their studies in State Management and Public Management.

The series of “The National Assembly in Me” program has helped develop a greater interest in public administration and enhanced their experiences, thus improving the quality of education at NAPA.
