On the 14/1/2016, in Hanoi, the National Academy of Public Administration held the closing ceremony of training course on Public Administration (KQT-01/2016) for 40 Senior Civil Servant of the Government of Bangladesh. This is the first training course of the year 2016 and the eighth training course of 2015 for senior officials of the Government of Bangladesh in the framework of cooperation program of education and training for the cadre and civil servants between the National Academy of Public Administration of Vietnam (NAPA) and the Ministry of Public Administration of Bangladesh (MOPA). HE Mohammad Shahab Ullah, the Bangladesh Ambassador to Vietnam has attended the ceremony.
Attending the closing ceremony were Associate Professor, PhD. Lưu Kiem Thanh – Vice President of NAPA along with many representatives from Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Public Security, leaders of the General Administrative Office, Faculty of Training and Retraining of Civil servants and in Service Training, International Cooperation Department and State Management Review of NAPA.
Giving a speech at the closing ceremony, Associate Professor, PhD Lưu Kiem Thanh – Vice President of NAPA affirmed that it is a pleasure for NAPA to be trusted by the Government of Bangladesh to provide the training programs for senior officials of Bangladesh. It has demonstrated and strengthened the friendship and cooperation between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh; It is a new step in the collaboration of education and training activities for civil servants between the National Academy of Public Administration (Ministry of Home Affairs) and the Ministry of Public Administration of Bangladesh. This is also an opportunity for lecturers and officials of NAPA and Bangladesh participants in the training course to learn and sharing experience in public administration, It will also contribute to the development of quality human resources for the public sector of each country.

Giving the speech at the ceremony, Mr. Farid Ahmed, Director General, the Prime Minister office said that the content and structure of the training program is appropriate; the knowledge and skills acquired through the training course and the field trip to ministries and localities are useful and practical. The training course provides the valuable inputs for improving the public sector performance in Bangladesh. Mr. Farid Ahmed hightly appreciated the expertise in public administration and responsibility of trainers, experts participing in the training courses; at the same time, he would like to thank the warm reception, sincere and highly professional work of NAPA Board of directors and employees, as well as leaders and officials of ministries and localities where the participants have had field trips. In general, It contributes to the success of the training courses.
