Opening Ceremony of the Training Course for Senior Officials – Cohort 23/2024 (Class A and B)

In accordance with the 2024 training plan, on August 3, 2024, at NAPA Headquarters in Ha Noi, the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) held the opening ceremony of the Training course for senior officials – Cohort 23/2024 (Class A and B). The ceremony was conducted both in-person and online, connecting to the NAPA – Dak Lak Campus (NAPA DAKLAK).

Participants at the opening ceremony included Dr. Thieu Huy Thuat, Acting Director of NAPA DAKLAK; Dr. Le Van Tu, Head of the Training and Refresher Training Management Division, NAPA DAKLAK; Mr. Tran Quang Trung, Head of the Management of Civil Service Rank and Job-based Training Division, Refresher Training Management Department; along with lecturers, officials from the Refresher Training Management Department, and all trainees of the course.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Bui Huy Tung, Director of the Refresher Training Management Department, emphasized the importance of training officials, civil servants, and public employees, including the training program for senior officials and equivalent positions. The training program for senior officials and equivalent positions was issued by the Minister of Home Affairs under Decision No. 422/QĐ-BNV dated June 2, 2022. It aims to supplement and enhance the knowledge of state governance, law, national administration, and state management; develop certain skills necessary for senior officials and equivalent positions to effectively and efficiently perform their assigned tasks and powers; and enhance political qualities, a sense of responsibility, and proactive, creative attitudes in performing assigned tasks.

To ensure the course meets its objectives, requirements, and plans, Dr. Bui Huy Tung urged trainees to strictly comply with regulations, focus on their studies, proactively research, and actively engage in discussions to clarify issues related to the program’s content and practical leadership and management issues tied to their work responsibilities. Trainees should also plan and allocate their time reasonably to participate and successfully complete the course.

Trainees in the course will study 27 modules and 06 thematic reports. The course includes site visit activities and requires the completion of 02 tests and 01 project paper.

At the opening ceremony, on behalf of the trainees, Mr. Le Van Hung, Deputy Chief of Office, Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee Office, expressed gratitude to the leadership of NAPA and the Refresher Training Management Department for facilitating the trainees’ participation in the course. He also pledged that the trainees would actively engage in the modules, strictly adhere to the rules and regulations, foster a cooperative and united class environment, and actively participate in discussions with lecturers to achieve the best possible learning outcomes.
