NAPA students receive scholarship granted by the Hessian Ministry for Science and the Arts, Germany and World University Service (WUS)

On May 18th 2018, at Temple of Literature, Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training, Hessian Ministry for Science and the Arts, World University Service Germany co-organized the ceremony to award the scholarships to excellent Vietnamese students in the academic year of 2017 – 2018.

Presented in the ceremony were representatives from Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam Association for Promoting Education, The Viet Nam – Germany Friendship Association, the Hessen Office in Vietnam, and training institutions as The National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) attended the ceremony.

Dr. Bui Cong Tho, representative of the Hessen Office in Vietnam thanked German organizations for their support to Vietnamese students through granting scholarship which has lasted for 25 years without interruption. The scholarship will encourage Vietnamese students to study further and archive success in their life. Ms. Sarah Joeris, representative of the Section for Culture, Journalism and Science, Germany Embassy to Vietnam congratulated Vietnamese students for their achievement wished them to realize their dreams and contribute to the social development in the future.

Every year, the Hessian Ministry for Science and the Arts, Germany and WUS grant one-year scholarship to 150 to 250 disadvantaged Vietnamese students who have excellent academic records. Each scholarship is worth 18 Euro per month  This year, 101 outstanding students studying in Hanoi are awarded the scholarship.

Two NAPA students are honored to receive the scholarship, namely  Luong Thi Thu Hoa (Class K18A7) and Lam Thi Khue (Class K17A2). The students also receive a Scholarship Certificate with signature of the Minister of Hessen Ministry for Science and the Arts, Germany.
