Training courses for provincial department and district levels leaders and managers in Lai Chau

On October 26th, 2019, the National Academy of Public Administration held the training courses for  provincial department and district levels leaders and managers in collaboration with the Political School of Lai Chau.

Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Tong Dang Hung, Deputy Director, Department of Refresher Training Management, NAPA; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Bui Huy Khien, Senior Lecturer, NAPA; Mr. Nguyen Tien Tang, the Rector of Lai Chau Political School; and course trainees.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Tong Dang Hung, Deputy Head of Training Management Department, NAPA emphasized that leaders and managers at the provincial and district levels play a important role in advising and assisting the local leaders in performing the sectoral state management in the locality. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly organize refresher courses for provincial and district leaders and managers to enhance their competences, knowledge, skills and working methods to perform their assigned tasks better. He stated the course trainees will be provided with the updated knowledge and skills in leadership and management at the provincial and district levels.. In addition to the classroom lectures, a field trip will be organized for trainees. Upon the completion of the course, trainees have to submit a project proposal. He also mentioned that in the training course provides a series of topics on knowledge and skills for leadership and management positions at provincial and district levels, strategic thinking, which aims to improve capacity and promote innovation for better quality at the workplace.
