On November 12th, 2016, National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) and Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) co-organized a training course “Introduction to Sustainable Consumption and Production and Eco-innovation for policy makers” for 50 senior civil servants participating in the training program for senior officials. The training course was delivered by Dr. Walter Reinhardt – UNEP Project Coordinator, Nguyen Thi Bich Hoa – Deputy Director of AIT Vietnam.
The training course was designed to provide basic concepts of sustainable consumption and eco-innovation for policy makers. Besides, the training course also helped learners to understand the barriers and challenges in promotion of eco-innovation in businesses and how sustainable consumption policies can promote and support eco-innovation in Vietnam. Learners actively participated during the training course.
The training course is the results from the cooperation between NAPA, UNEP and AITVN in enriching the training programs delivered by NAPA, it also expressed a cooperation in training for civil servants between NAPA and foreign partners.
