Closing ceremony of the Training course for senior officials – Cohort 3/2024

On June 28, 2024, at NAPA Headquarters in Hanoi, the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) held the closing ceremony of the training course for senior officials – Cohort 3/2024 (Class A and B) at NAPA and NAPA – Quang Nam Campus.

Participants of the ceremony included Dr. Bui Huy Tung, Director of the Refresher Training Management Department; Ms. Le Phuong Thuy, Deputy Director of the Refresher Training Management Department; Ms. Dam Thi Thanh Tam, Deputy Head of the Division of Management of Civil Service Rank and Job-based Training, Refresher Training Management Department; Dr. Tran Thi Kim Dung, Deputy Head of the Division of Management of Civil Service Rank and Job-based Training, Refresher Training Management Department; representatives of the leaders of NAPA units; class managers; and the course participants.

The training course for senior officials – Cohort 3/2024 (Class A), included participants who are public officials from central and local governments and sectors. During the course, participants were introduced to 27 topics and 06 thematic reports from two groups: general knowledge and basic skills. The course included 02 multiple-choice tests, project writing as per regulations, and a field study trip to Yen Mo District, Ninh Binh Province. The lectures and exchanges were conducted by associate professors and senior lecturers from inside and outside NAPA.

The course summary report evaluated and acknowledged that all participants made efforts to overcome work difficulties, arrange their time, fully attend to all topics and program contents, comply with study rules and regulations, and demonstrated good study spirit and active research of materials. Throughout the study period, the classes always received close attention and guidance from the NAPA’s leadership and enthusiastic and responsible coordination from related NAPA faculties, departments, and units, contributing to the success of the course.

As a result of the course, 64 participants (Class A) completed the course and were awarded certificates by the NAPA President.

In his speech at the ceremony, Dr. Bui Huy Tung congratulated and praised the results achieved by the class during their intensive study period. He emphasized that the training of public officials is a regular and important task in personnel work. In addition to the goal of training and improving professional skills and methods for public service activities, this is also a duty and a right of the participants.

Dr. Bui Huy Tung expressed gratitude for the support and facilitation from the leaders of various ministries, departments, sectors, and localities that sent participants to the course. The program helped participants supplement their knowledge and skills in state management in public service implementation, aiming to build a team of senior officials with ethical qualities, courage, and competence to meet the development requirements of the administration. He also hoped that after the training course, participants would best apply the knowledge they had learned to effectively perform advisory, management, and operational tasks at their units.

On behalf of the cohort, Mr. Lai Huu Dong, Deputy Director of the Civil Judgment Enforcement Department of Hai Duong Province, expressed his sincere gratitude to the NAPA lecturers. Throughout the course, all participants eagerly studied and met the NAPA’s requirements. The knowledge and skills accumulated during the training course are valuable assets for all participants to continue working, contributing, and applying effectively in practice to bring about job efficiency, contributing to the overall development of the agencies and organizations where the participants work.
