A warm Bunpimay New Year 2018 at NAPA

On April 10th 2018, National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) organized Bunpimay New Year eve for Laos students.

Presented in the Bunpimay New Year ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luong Thanh Cuong, NAPA Vice President; Mr. Khamsinh Doangvandi, Counselor of Laos Embassy to Vietnam; Representatives from ministries and departments; NAPA staff and lecturers; Laos and Vietnamese students.

In the congratulation remark, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luong Thanh Cuong, NAPA Vice President emphasized that Vietnam always honor the friendship between Vietnam and Laos. It is a valuable asset which has been built by generations of Vietnamese and Laos people. Every year about a hundred of Laos students come to NAPA for different training programs from bachelor to doctoral level which shows the tight relationship between the two countries. On behalf of the Board of Directors, he wished Laos students good health, happiness and success in their study and contribute to the socio-economic development of Laos.

Mr. Khamsinh Doangvandi, Counselor of Laos Embassy to Vietnam appreciated NAPA’s support for Laos students. He asserted that Laos has made great achievements in the recent years with support of Vietnam especially in public training. He wish the relationship between Vietnam and Laos will be tightened and long lasting.

Bunpimay New Year is held from April 13th 2018 to April 16th 2018. Laos people celebrate the New Year with many activities including the water splashing event as a symbol of prosperity, peace and happiness.
