Adaptability, Flexibility, and Responding to Organizational Change

On December 3, 2024, at the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) Headquarters in Ha Noi, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) organized a training session on adaptability, flexibility, and responding to organizational change for civil servants and public employees of MoHA units.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Le Dat, Deputy Director General of the MoHA Department of Organization and Personnel, emphasized the importance of regular training to enhance the expertise, professionalism, and skills of public officials. This effort reflects the leadership’s commitment to meeting the practical demands of streamlining organizational structures in accordance with resolutions and directives from the Central Party. He particularly highlighted the recently announced policy directions from the National Conference on Dissemination and Implementation of the Summary of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the 12th Party Central Committee, alongside the economic and social outlook for 2024 and solutions for accelerating socio-economic development in 2025, which addressed institutional bottlenecks and challenges. The conference was held on December 1, 2024.

The training session, organized by MoHA, aims to help public officials adapt quickly to changes in their environment and circumstances during the execution of their duties. The goal is to equip them to fulfill their responsibilities effectively and efficiently as assigned by competent authorities. Additionally, the session seeks to shift perceptions and actions in response to the rapid changes in today’s global landscape. It encourages creativity and the development of new solutions to achieve tasks with the highest quality and in the shortest time possible.

As part of the training session, Dr. Do Tien Long, Chairman of the Expert Council at OD Click Management Consulting Ltd., delivered presentations on the topics “Awareness and the Importance of Organizational Change” and “Developing Adaptability and Flexibility Skills to Effectively Respond to Organizational Change.” These sessions provided new motivation, encouraging participants to embrace innovative thinking and adopt a proactive mindset, ready to commit, sacrifice, and contribute to the common cause of serving society as guided by organizational arrangements. The training also emphasized active adaptation to the requirements of implementing reforms for streamlining the organizational structure of the political system.
