Call for Papers for the upcoming 2022 International Conference on “Roles of Social Sciences in Sustainability Transformation in the Global South”

Dear Colleagues and Friends in the Public Administration Community:

In collaboration with its organizing partners, the Faculty of Social Sciences, Kasetsart University will hold its first international online conference on “Roles of Social Sciences in Sustainability Transformation in the Global South” on 9 June 2022. This conference explores how social sciences may contribute to the conception, design, and implementation of the many sustainable transformations that must be accomplished for people across the Global South to continue to experience sustainable gains. The conference invites participation and/or paper submissions addressing one of the following topics:

  • Trends, challenges, and barriers to sustainability transformation in the Global South
  • Design and re-design of sustainable transformations
  • Governance of sustainable transformations
  • Agri-food transformations and Future Food
  • Sustainable urban development
  • Sustainable communities
  • Role of media in accomplishing sustainable transformations
  • Accommodating polarization in a post-truth world
  • Digital transformations
  • Technologies for sustainable transformations
  • Sustainable transformation of tourism
  • Community heritage for posterity and social acceptance
  • Sustainable transformation through the historical lens
