Celebration of the 43rd Laos Independence Day at NAPA

On November 30th 2018, National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) celebrated Laos Independence Day (December 02nd 1975 – December 02nd 2018).

Presented at the meeting were Ms. Phan Thi Thu Hang, Deputy Director, Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA); Mr. Phan Van Nghia, Deputy Director, Department of Planning and Finance, MOHA; Dr. Nguyen Dang Que, NAPA Vice President; Laos students, NAPA staff and lecturers.

Giving a speech at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Dang Que, NAPA Vice President extended best wishes to all Laos civil servants and students who have been participating in different training programs at NAPA on the 43rd Laos Independence Day. He highlighted the tremendous achievements that Laos has mase over the last years. He also emphasized the special friendship  and effective cooperation in various areas between Vietnam and Laos. NAPA plays an important role in cooperation in the training of Laos public managers and leaders, in training of quality human resource for Laos

On behalf of Laos students, Mr. Som Bouttakoun, Head of the trainees who are participating the training program for senior Laos officials expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Home Affairs and NAPA for supporting Lao students during their stay in Vietnam. He also appreciated Vietnam’s support to Laos over the last 43 years, especially in  training  Laos public servants.

Every yearNAPA trains many Laos students who are participating in different training programs including bachelor, master, doctoral degree training, short training courses on public management for public officials.
