Establishment

Center of Foreign Language was established on 08 June 2012.

Functions and duties

Training of foreign languages for NAPA’s graduate students and prospective applicants for master training programs delivered by NAPA and other institutions;
Development of language training curricula, training materials, language exam resources for foreign language training courses;
Scientific research on language and use of language in the administrative context;
Providing language services to individuals and organizations inside and outside of the Academy

Organizational structure

Main activities

Training foreign language for graduate students and those candidates who want to apply for master degree programs delivered by NAPA and other insitutions. Every year, the Center provides 20 language classes for NAPA graduate students and prospective applicants for master training programs;
Providing foreign language courses at request;
Cooperating with other competent institutions to organize and grant language certificates for CEFR Level B1;
Scientific research and development of training curricula and materials: editing, developing language exam resources and materials for language exam practice for candidates to graduate training programs and to English exams for CEFR Level B1.

Achievements and Awards

Certificate of Merit for Excellent Collective of Labor in the academic year 2012-2013 awarded by the President of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Public Administration;
Title “Excellent Collective of Labor” in the academic year 2013-2014;
Title “Good Collective of Labor” in the academic year 2014-2015;
Titles “A Labor of Good Performance”; 02 staff awarded the title “Emulation Staff at grassroots level”

Orientation

Improving the quality of teaching staff: 30 % of the faculties will have got doctoral qualifications by 2010;
Innovation of training programs to serve the overall reform of the education – training in the new period;
Improving quality of scientific research projects and their apllication;
Improving training facilities for quality training of foreign languages.
