On November 23rd, 2016, National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) organized the Closing Ceremony of KQT 09/2016 of the overseas training program on public administration for Bangladesh high ranking officials. This was the 9th international training course organized in 2016 by NAPA.
Giving a speech at the ceremony, Dr. Le Nhu Thanh – NAPA Permanent Vice President appreciated active participation of Bangladesh high ranking officials during the training. He expected that the knowledge gained through the training program would be beneficial for participants’s work as well as contribute to the improvement of the civil service performance and providing high quality services for citizens. He also acknowledged participants feedback through sharing their comparative analysis between Vietnam and Bangladesh related to management practice and administrative reform. Dr. Le Nhu Thanh emphasized that these valuable contributions helped NAPA to have a better understanding of administrative reform in Bangladesh which are useful for NAPA to improve the quality of the overseas training program for Bangladesh government in particular and for other international training programs at NAPA in general.
On behalf of the delegation, Dr. Mohammad Ruhul Amin Talukder – Joint Secretary, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare thanked the warm reception of NAPA leaders, lecturers and staff. He also shared his great impression of Vietnam, a country with a unique culture and friendly people. Dr. Talukder also appreciated the training program delivered by NAPA as well as the expertise, professionalism, and responsibility of Vietnamese lecturers, experts, and supporting officers. He expressed the admiration for Vietnam’s reform achievements in the recent years. He emphasized the relevance and applicability of Vietnam’s experience for the reform and innovation in Bangladesh given the two countries have many similarities regarding history of national liberation, cultural characteristics and levels of development.
On behalf of NAPA, Dr. Le Nhu Thanh awarded training certificates and gave presents to 33 participants of the overseas training program.
