On December 22nd, 2016, National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) organized the closing ceremony of State Management training program for Laos public servants.
Presented at the ceremony were Dr. Le Nhu Thanh, NAPA Permanent Vice President; Mr. May Kham-Kheu-a, First Secretary of the Laos Embassy to Vietnam; representatives from departments and ministries; and 20 Laos participants in the training program.

On behalf of the Laos Embassy to Vietnam, Mr. May Kham-Kheu-a thanked NAPA in helping Laos students during their training at NAPA and wished the Academy to continue supporting Laos officials in studying at NAPA. At the same time, he also emphasized that the training conducted by NAPA for Lao government officials is a result of co-operation and a testament to the friendship and solidarity between the two countries of Vietnam and Laos.

Giving a speech at the ceremony, Dr. Le Nhu Thanh praised the effort and academic achievement of Laos participants. At the same time, he also hoped Laos students will apply effectively the knowledge and skills gained from the training program in management activities at Laos administrative agencies. Thereby, it will contribute to the administrative reform process of Laos. Dr. Le Nhu Thanh thanked Laos Embassy to Vietnam and agencies of Vietnam in helping NAPA in the process of organizing the training program.

The State Management training program for Laos officials was held in 2 months (from October 24th to December 22nd). During the training, 18 training modules provided students fundamental knowledge about the state, law, public administration and state management of different areas. In addition, students also gained administration skills. Especially, as a field trip organized in the training, participants also had the opportunity to visit Hoa Lac High-Tech Park and some cities such as Hai Phong and Tuyen Quang. All students obtained distinction results in their training and commended by NAPA leaders. Dr. Le Nhu Thanh presented the Awards of Merit by NAPA President and Graduation Certificates to the students at the ceremony.
