Closing ceremony of the 2019 training course for senior officials at NAPA Branch Campus in Hue

On June 28, 2019, NAPA Branch Campus in Hue organized the closing ceremony of the 2019 training course for senior officials.

Presented at the closing ceremony were Dr. Ngo Van Tran, Permanent Deputy General Director, NAPA Branch Campus in Hue; NAPA lecturers and course participants.

The 2019 training course for senior officials was organized from April 23rd to June 21st, 2019 with participation of 31 public officials from central and local agencies, including General Directors, Deputy General Directors, Deputy Heads of Provincial Party Commissions; Chief Inspector; Provincial Department Directors, Deputy Directors; Secretaries of District/City Party Committees; Chairpeople of City People’s Committee, Deputy Chairpeople provincial socio-political organizations. Course participants came from central provinces including Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen. The course covered 15 subjects, divided into knowledge and skill parts, including advanced knowledge of organization and administrative apparatus; public management and public administrative reform in the development trend; state management of selected areas; delegation skills; motivation; project development and management; strategic management, conflict management; change management in public service. The course participants also had an opportunities to listen to 4 thematic presentations delivered by profound practitioners and a field trip to Quang Binh province. The field trip provided course participants lessons learnt in public management which could be referred or replicated in their work. At the end of the training, course participants were required to develop a project proposal.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Dr. Ngo Van Tran congratulated course participants for graduation. He expected that they would apply their learning to work and improve their performance, leadership and management practice, contributing to development of an efficient, transparent public administration.
