On December 19th, 2016, NAPA organized the conference for reviewing the results of the two years of training of leaders and senior managers at ministerial department, provincial department, district level. Presented at the conference were Dr. Le Nhu Thanh, NAPA Permanent Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luu Kiem Thanh, NAPA Vice President; representatives from Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Office of the National Assembly, NAPA staff and faculties.
After the opening speech, participants were delivered the report on the two years of position-based training in NAPA. Representatives from NAPA campuses in Hue, Ho Chi Minh City, Highlands as well as representatives of ministries and agencies, NAPA staff and faculties contributed comments on the report and gave recommendations to improve the quality of position-based training at NAPA.

At the end of the conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luu Kiem Thanh thanked participants for their contribution in the improvement of training at NAPA and these ideas will be put into the final report paper which also contribute to the development of training management procedure of positions based, rank-based, job-based training taking into account of training size and type. He stated that Organization and Personnel Department and other faculties and departments have to prepare the plans for lecturers and training coordinators. Lecturers including visiting lecturers need to be trained often in order to ensure the quality and consistency of training in terms of content as well as methods. Faculty of Public Servant Training has to identify training needs of localities to develop the training plan for 2017 and coming years. Planning and Financial Department is responsible for estimates, settlement, development of cost norms in order to ensure the effectiveness of the training activities.
