CONGRATULATION LETTER

On the occasion of the 41st anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982 – November 20, 2023)

On the occasion of the 41st anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982 – November 20, 2023), on behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of Home Affairs and in my personal capacity, I would like to extend my warm greetings, heartfelt wishes, and congratulations to the generations of lecturers, officials and public employees of the National Academy of Public Administration.

In the academic year 2022 – 2023, which is a “pivot year” for development, NAPA has achieved remarkable results in the effective implementation of Decision No. 27/2022/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister and the merger of Hanoi University of Home Affairs into NAPA. This marks the beginning of a new development phase with missions, potentials, and strengths that are fully integrated after the merger, early stabilization of the organizational structure, completion of the internal governance regulations, effective implementation of the functions and tasks of NAPA, and successful organization of 2023 EROPA Conference. I acknowledge and highly appreciate the spirit of determination, solidarity, and effort and commend the achievements of NAPA.

Continuing the glorious tradition and with the new position and momentum, NAPA needs to focus even more on leveraging internal strength and mobilizing external resources. It is crucial to prioritize the construction of a team of reputable and high-quality lecturers, proficient in their fields, exemplar in their professional ethics, and wholeheartedly dedicated to the cause of training a team of officials for the country, and providing human resources for society. It is my firm belief that inheriting a tradition of over half a century of construction and development, NAPA will continue to vigorously promote its new position as the national center for training officials and providing policy consultancy on administration and state management, thus contributing to the cause of building a democratic, professional, modern, lean, effective, efficient, and enabling administration, serving the Fatherland and the People.

Wishing all generations of lecturers, officials, and public employees at NAPA good health and greater success in your noble careers and happiness in life!

Wishing all of you good health, happiness, and success!

Sincerely, Pham Thi Thanh Tra

Member of the Party Civil Affairs Committte, Secretary of the Party Delegation, Minister of Home Affairs
