From November 4th 2018 to November 12th 2018, National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) delegation headed by Dr. Dang Xuan Hoan, NAPA President visited France and Germany to study experience in public official training as well as in training curriculum and material development. The delegation also discussed training cooperation opportunity with training institutions from France and Germany
On November 5th 2018, NAPA delegation had a meeting with Professor Guillaume Sarrat de Tramezaigues, Interim Executive Director of School of Public Affairs, Executive Director of Department of Economics, Political Research Institute (Science Po) on training cooperation opportunity such as joint training for Master and Doctor, training for Vietnamese public officials, capacity development for NAPA lecturer at Science Po, joint research.
The delegation also visited Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA) exchanging cooperation ideas on training for Vietnam elite public officials and senior executive officials (vice ministers, general directors); Master and Doctor training; lecturing, presentations by ENA experts in training courses for general directors, vice ministers and in international workshops in NAPA. Both sides discussed the signing of MoU in the coming time.
At the meeting with Mr. Jean Martin Jaspers, Director, Centre of High Studies of the French Home Ministry (CHEMI), NAPA President appreciated the cooperation between CHEMI and NAPA in recent years, especially cooperation in eLearning and expected CHEMI’s further support to development of NAPA’s eLearning in the context of artificial intelligence application. An MoU was suggested to be developed and signed.
On November 8th 2018, in the reception by Prof. Holger Muhlenkamp, rector of University of Administrative Sciences Speyer, the two training institutions discussed on the content of the MoU which will cover the mutual cooperation in master and doctor training, overseas one-two week training courses for Vietnamese senior public officials in University of Administrative Sciences.
At the meeting in the Faculty of Business and Law, Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, NAPA delegation discussed with Prof. Barbara Lammelein and Prof. Adelheid Zeis the potential cooperation in research and student exchange and possibility of MoU.
