NAPA professor as key note speaker in International Conference The Role of Social Sciences in Leading Global Competition

The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Sriwijaya University invited NAPA scholars to participate in the international conference on social sciences development “The Role of Social Sciences in Leading Global Competition” from October 26th to October 27th, 2016 in Palembang, Indonesia. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Thanh Can, Deputy Dean of Faculty of Organization and Personnel Management, NAPA attended as one of the key note speakers of the conference. Presented in the International Conference also were many scholars from Japan, Malaysia, Viet Nam and Indonesia.

The sub-topics of the conference were:

The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Sriwijaya University, Indonesia is a traditional partner of NAPA. The two sides have carried out  many cooperation activities over the past years, such as organizing seminars, exchanging students, cooperating in research. Besides, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Sriwijaya University also received many NAPA’s delegations for a study visit.

In the first six months of 2016, a research group of NAPA including five researchers and lecturers led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Thanh Can cooperated with a research group of Sriwijaya University in the research project “The policy of public space use”.  The research results were presented in EROPA Conference 2016 in the Philippines.
