On February 17th, 2017, National Academy Public Administration (NAPA) received CHEMI delegation led by Mr Jean-Martin Jasper, Director of Centre of High Studies of the French Home Ministry (CHEMI).
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luu Kiem Thanh, NAPA Vice President chaired the meeting. Presented at the meeting were Mr. Olivier Laurens Bernard, CHEMI Director Advisor, Ms. Francesca Martini, in charge of international cooperation at CHEMI, Ms. Nguyen Thi Vinh Ha, French Embassy staff, NAPA staff and faculty.
At the meeting, both parties have reviewed the cooperation activities carried out since2016 based on the Agreement of Cooperation 2016 – 2018 signed on September 05, 2016 on the official visit of French President François Hollande to Vietnam. NAPA and CHEMI also discussed the plan for E-learning program at NAPA with the focus on: 1) providing advice and support for NAPA in the infrastructure development of the E-learning system; 2) developing technicians specialized in administration and operation of E-learning as well as management of the training curriculum and materials design and delivery of E-learning at NAPA; 3) supporting NAPA in development of E-learning training curricula and materials for E-learning, especially in finalizing the E-learning training curriculum for leaders at provincial department level and in development of the training curriculum for leaders at district level.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. LuuKiemThanh thanked CHEMI for the effective support and stated that NAPA will accelerate the E-learning development at NAPA and establishment of a unit in charge of E-learning as well as development and delivery of E-learning for public managers at NAPA.
