On October 11th 2018, National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) received Cuba Embassy delegation. Presented in the reception were Mr. Carlos Alfredo Amores Balbin, Ambassador, official in charge of political and economic affairs; Mr. Hoang Van Quan, Embassy official; Ms. Pham Thi Quynh Hoa, Director of International Cooperation Department; Dr. Nguyen Quang Vinh, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of State Management Review.
The reception discussed the progress of the Memorandum of Understand (MoU) between NAPA, Vietnam and Cuban School for state senior officials.
Mr. Carlos Alfredo Amores Balbin expressed his gratitude to be able to come back to NAPA to discuss future cooperation in training for state officials. Ms. Pham Thi Quynh Hoa suggested NAPA training programs for Cuba state officials and sending NAPA lecturers to Cuba to exchange Vietnam’s experience in public administration reform as well as economic reform, international integration and other topics requested by Cuba.
Dr. Nguyen Quang Vinh introduced the operation of State Management Review and its development orientation. He emphasized that State Management Review is currently developing Online version as well as English version of the Review. He wished to cooperate and exchange experience with the journal of Cuban School for state senior officials.
Both sides agreed on the details of the MoU and expect the signing of the MoU in November 2018.
