On October 26th 2017, Dr. Dang Xuan Hoan, NAPA President chaired the reception for National Human Resources Development Institute (NHI) delegation. Presented in the ceremony were Mr. Kim Je-Kyung, General Director of Planning and Cooperation Department, NHI; NAPA staff and lecturers.
Dr. Dang Xuan Hoan introduced the function and mission as well as the development orientation of NAPA. He emphasized the similarities between NAPA and NHI which is the advantage for further cooperation. Dr. Dang Xuan Hoan also thanked NHI for supporting and providing training for NAPA staff and lecturers as well as receives NAPA delegation to study and research in Korea.
Mr. Kim Je- Kyung appreciated the cooperation between the two institutions and expressed his desire to better understand the civil servants training model in Vietnam especially NAPA training model. It will be the basis to develop cooperation plan between the two institutions.
During the reception, the two institutions agreed to develop cooperation in the following directions:
- Developing capacity for lecturers and researchers
- Conducting joint research to compare issues on human resource management and development between Vietnam and Korea
- Developing curriculums and training methods for civil servants to meet the requirements of market economy development and international integration
- Cooperating in training for Vietnam senior civil servants through inviting Korean lecturers and professionals to deliver training in Vietnam and sending senior civil servants to study and research in Korea in the framework of cooperation programs, joint training.
After the reception, NAPA staff and lecturers spent time to exchange with the delegation on issues related to human resource management and development in Vietnam.
