NAPA receives Rector of Bangladesh Public Administration Training Center

On February 13th, 2017, Dr. Le Nhu Thanh, Permanent Vice President of National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) received Bangladesh Public Administration Training Center (BPATC) delegation led by A.L.M Abdur Rahman, Secretary in charge to the Government, Rector of BPATC. Presented at the reception were Ms. Salma Mahmud, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Public Administration (MOPA), Mr. Md. Faizul Kabir, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Youth and Sports, staff and faculties.

At the reception, both institutions reviewed the cooperation result especially in cooperation in training of high ranking officials. Until now, NAPA has organized 14 training courses for more than 400 officials of Bangladesh government.

Mr. A.L.M Abdur Rahman highly appreciated the quality of the training course as well the warm reception, good organization, and thoughtful care provided to Bangladesh officials. Especially, Mr. Rahman emphasized the highly relevance and applicability of the training when both countries have many similarities in history, culture and development level.

Dr. Le Nhu Thanh, NAPA Permanent Vice President expressed NAPA’s honor to be trusted by Bangladesh in training Bangladesh high and middle ranking officials. He also emphasized that the training courses are also an opportunity for Vietnam and Bangladesh to discuss and share experience in governance and innovation, to tighten the friendship between the two countries. Dr. Le Nhu Thanh also affirmed that NAPA  makes continuous efforts to improve the quality of the training courses to meet participants’ expectation.

Both institutions also discussed the potential of expanding the cooperation in other areas such as academic exchange, internship exchange, joint training, material exchange as well as publication.
