NAPA receives World Bank delegation

On March 7th 2017, Dr. Le Nhu Thanh, NAPA Permanent Vice President welcomed World Bank delegation led by Ms. Tran Thi Lan Huong, Governance Specialist of the World Bank Vietnam. Presented at the reception were Mr. Nguyen Quang Dung, Director General of Salary Department, Ministry of Home Affairs, NAPA staff and faculty.

The delegation wants to analyze and evaluate the salary and benefits of Vietnam public officials in comparison with other countries in the world and recommend a salary model to Vietnam Government in order to make staffing plans for public organizations in Vietnam.

Dr. Le Nhu Thanh thanked World Bank for their trust in choosing NAPA as the research sample and stated that NAPA will continue to cooperate with the World Bank delegation during the process of data gathering and analysis on salary and benefits in the public sector in Vietnam.

At the meeting, NAPA faculty and staff exchanged information with the World Bank specialists on the issues of interest of the delegation.
