In accordance with Decision No. 1189/QD-BGDT dated April 25, 2023, of the Ministry of Education and Training on allowing the National Academy of Public Administration to organize training activities, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ba Chien suggested that the units under the Academy organize a thorough understanding and awareness-raising of officials and employees regarding the task of university training, particularly the communication work of formal university admissions. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ba Chien asserted that the communication work should be conducted methodically and by a predetermined plan to ensure a foundation, connectivity, modernity, and consistency throughout the entire NAPA system. It should effectively meet the requirements of management, administration, coordination, and accountability of the NAPA staff and employees in fulfilling their tasks. Each officer, employee, and organization in the Academy must be aware of their duties and responsibilities in communication work; each individual must serve as a media ambassador to promote the Academy’s brand.

Currently, the Academy has issued Decision No. 1924/QD-HDTS dated June 1, 2023, regarding the establishment of the Communication Board of the Admissions Council in 2023 and Decision No. 2466/QD-HDTS dated June 19, 2023, regarding the establishment of the Communication and Consulting Team for formal university admissions in 2023. This is the legal basis for the implementation of university enrollment communication activities for the formal university admission process this year. Assoc, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ba Chien acknowledged and applauded the results achieved by the respective units in the past period. He stated that communication work encompasses not only admissions communication but also brand communication, anticipating potential situations, handling communication crises, and utilizing social networking platforms to communicate about the Academy, particularly in the current period, focusing on information about formal university admission in 2023.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Ba Chien suggested that the Communication Board of the Admissions Council and the Communication and Consulting Team for formal university admissions continue to maintain good relations with the press by proactively providing information to be published in the mass media. Additionally, they should strengthen communication on the NAPA Web Portal, Fanpages, YouTube, TikTok, etc. Each specialized faculty should collaborate with the Communication and Consulting Teams and students to serve as effective communication channels for the disciplines and fields they specialize in.

During the meeting, members of the Communication Board of the Admissions Council and the Communication and Consulting Team provided their perspectives on the current status of regular university admissions communication in 2023, as well as the difficulties and obstacles faced, objectives, and solutions for enrollment communication and brand communication to effectively enhance the brand of the Academy.
