Opening Ceremony of the 2nd graduate training program in 2016 at NAPA

On December 23rd, 2016, National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) hosted the opening ceremony of the 2nd graduate training program in 2016.

Attending the ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trieu Van Cuong, Vice Minister of Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA), in charge of NAPA, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Van Hanh, NAPA Vice President and head of the units, departments, 20 new doctoral students and 313 new master students.

Giving a speach at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trieu Van Cuong emphasized that graduate training is one of the most important tasks and strengths of NAPA and given close attention by leaders of MOHA and NAPA. Quality training delivered by NAPA contributes to high quality human resource in the country. NAPA is expected to provide masters and doctors trained in in-depth theoretical knowledge, skills in the field of management science, finance – banking and law and respond to the practice of State management activities. On behalf NAPA leaders, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trieu Van Cuong also requires graduate students to follow the training regulations, specifically: (1) Strictly follow regulations on doctoral and master training by Ministry of Education and Training as well as NAPA’s regulations ; (2) Participate actively in learning activities;follow the planned learning schedule throughout the training; (3) Be active and independent in  research; (4) Honest in and responsible for learning and research, ensuring theses’ new contributions and  applicability; (5) Be flexible and innovative in making learning inputs relevant with the current work context given  the specialized training inPublic Management, Constitutional Law and Administrative Law,. Vice Minister believes graduate students are able to meet the rigorous demands of learning and research in order to complete PhD and Master training successfully which will contribute to the high quality human resource of the government.

At the ceremony, representative of graduate students expressed their gratitude and pride to win a fair, objective and serious entrance examination and expectation to get support from NAPA President and Faculty of Graduate Training She also believed that graduate students will study in the best environment at NAPA.
