Opening Ceremony of the public administration training course for Bangladesh civil servants

On November 13, 2017, National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) organized a training course on public administration training for Bangladesh high ranking officials. This is the 6th training course to be held in 2017 and the 18th training course for Bangladesh high ranking officials held in Vietnam.

Presented in the ceremony were Dr. Hoang Quang Dat, Dean of Public Servants Training Faculty; Mr. AFM Aminul Islam, Counselor of Bangladesh Embassy to Vietnam; representatives from ministries and departments; NAPA staff and lectures; 35 high ranking officials from Bangladesh

Dr. Hoang Quang Dat welcomed Mr. AFM Aminul Islam to visit NAPA and attend the Opening Ceremony of public administration training course for Bangladesh civil servants. He affirmed that it is an honor for NAPA to receive high ranking officials from Bangladesh government which promotes relationship and cooperation between the two countries and the two ministries. It is also an opportunity for the two sides to study and share experiences on the process of administrative reform, public servants reform and high quality human resource development for public sector of each country. NAPA will provide best conditions in all aspects to meet the needs of Bangladesh participants in studying, researching and practicing during the training courses in Vietnam.

On behalf of Bangladeshi delegation, Mr. Shah Mohammad Sanaul Hoque, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Public Administration thanked NAPA for the warm reception. At the same time, He also believed that the training course will be useful and bring practical impact to the participants.

The training program was held from November 12th 2017 to November 21st 2017, it was designed interweaving between training activities, exchanging experience at NAPA and field study at some northern provinces of Vietnam. Participants will have the opportunities to learn about political and administrative system of Vietnam. Achievements and challenges of public administration reform in Vietnam; role of Vietnam Government in promoting economic development and social justice; officials and civil servants management, evaluation and training; decentralize the management, planning, analysis and implementation of public policy as well as skills on management, international negotiation which contributes the development and integration of Vietnam.
