On April 3rd 2017, National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) and Centre of High Studies of the French Home Ministry (CHEMI) co-organized a training course on E-learning for technician and administrator at French Institute (Espace).
Presented in the ceremony were Mr. Oliver Laurens Bernard, Former Governor, CHEMI high ranking advisor on training ; Mr. Alain Drai, Head of E-learning Training and Event Organization Department, CHEMI;, Mr. Marc Durieux, Head of CHEMI Information Technology Department; Ms. Pauline Guillaume, Officer in charge of Law – Juridical – Governance Program, French Embassy to Vietnam; Ms. Pham Thi Quynh Hoa, General Director, NAPA International Cooperation Department; Mr. Bui Huy Tung, General Director, NAPA General Office and 20 participants from NAPA.
Ms. Pham Thi Quynh Hoa stated that the training course is part of the cooperation between NAPA and CHEMI in E-learning capacity development for NAPA. The goal of the training course was to prepare the basic knowledge of module development and Moodle operation for NAPA technician and administrator. Moreover, NAPA technician will also be provided requirement skills to support and advice NAPA lecturers in designing and organizing E-learning courses, scenario development in designing e-learning modules, identifying and handling technical and management issues, coordination in the process of E-learning design and organization.
During the ceremony, Mr. Olivier Bernard emphasized the training course as the next step in the cooperation between NAPA and CHEMI in order to implement E-learning training course at NAPA. For realization of the course delivery, the knowledge and skill of lecturers and technicians in E-learning are very essential. He believed that with the support of CHEMI professional NAPA lecturers and technicians will be able to acquire the required skills in management, operation as well as implementation of E-Learning at NAPA in the coming time.
The training course will be held in three days from April 3rd to April 5th 2017. On April 3rd, participants will learn about the basic of E-learning, the role of network administrator in E-learning, Moodle, lecture organization via E-learning, the relationship between technicians and lecturers in E-learning.
In the last two days, the training course will be held at NAPA; technicians will continue to learn and practice on Moodle, meanwhile, lecturers will focus on E-learning module development.
On August 29th 2016, NAPA delegation led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luu Kiem Thanh, NAPA Vice President, visited CHEMI and were introduced E-learning activities of CHEMI. The delegation received a short training course on designing, managing and implementing E-learning from August 29th to September 5th 2016.
