PM Pham Minh Chinh: Learner-centered training, institution as a foundation, trainers as key drivers

Promoting authentic learning, learner-centered training, institution as a foundation, trainers as key drivers, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said at the working session with the Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA) on April 28, 2021.

Attending the working session was Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra, Minister-Chairman of Government Office Tran Van Son, leaders of MOHA and the Government Office, Dr. Dang Xuan Hoan, NAPA President.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh agreed with the Project on capacity building for cadres and public employees. At the meeting, MOHA leaders, NAPA President, other participants shares their ideas on training of public servants.

Over the past years, NAPA has uphold the spirit of “discipline – quality – modernity” in order to enhance its position and role in training of public servants. In the coming time, NAPA focuses on the following orientations: improving capacity of NAPA staff; strengthening training and improving training quality; comprehensively modernizing.

With the support of the Government, particularly Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh as well as MOHA leaders and the active coordination of the departments  under the Ministry, NAPA is expected to successfully complete its tasks in 2021 and in the following years as a national and regional center of public administration training for cadres, civil servants and public employees; human resource training; administrative studies; and consultancy for the Government and MOHA in the field of public administration and state management.
