The Politburo stated that, under the leadership of the Party, the management of the State, the executive direction of the Government, the Prime Minister, the National Steering Committee on the prevention and control of CoVid-19 epidemic, agencies and localities have implemented initial solutions quickly, drastically, synchronously. Achievements have been gained and highly appreciated by the people and the world.
The steering committees for prevention and control of CoVid-19 epidemic at the central and local levels has been closely following the situation, formulating plans and scenarios, applying many effective, creative ways to control the epidemic, treating infected people, supporting Vietnamese local and overseas people. Health workers, army and police officers, local authorities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces have seriously implemented their responsibilities and duties, effectively participating in the disease prevention and control.
Complete, transparent information has been disseminated and provided timely. Fake news is handled in a timely and strict manner. In particular, people have stayed calm and proactively participated with local authorities in combating epidemics, sharing and helping each other to overcome difficulties.
The Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong stated that the remarkable results in the disease prevention and control show the superiority of the current political system in the country’s construction and protection in general and in the disease prevention and control, care and protection of people’s health in particular.

The Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong said that in the top priority and the most important goal in the coming time is not to let disease outbreak in Vietnam. It is an important time at the moment which requires strong determination, a resolute attitude, perseverance, the highest sense of responsibility to prevent and control the epidemic. It is necessary to develop scenarios of disease situation which provides a basis for formulation of specific alternatives to achieve the goal of both controlling the epidemic and ensuring socio-economic development.
