President of the National Academy of Public Administration works with the World University Service of Germany

In the morning of March 21^st, 2019, Dr. Dang Xuan Hoan, NAPA President chaired the meeting with the delegation of the World University Service (WUS) of Germany led by Dr. Kambiz Ghawami. Attending the meeting were Dr. Bui Cong Tho, Chief Representative and officials of Hessen Office in Vietnam. Presented at the reception, from NAPA, were Dr. Bui Huy Tung, Chief of NAPA’s Office, in charge of Department of Refresher Training Management, Ms. Pham Thi Quynh Hoa, Director, Department of International Cooperation, representatives from Department of Graduate Training Management.

Dr. Dang Xuan Hoan highly appreciated the support of WUS and the Hessen Office in Vietnam for NAPA in various cooperation programs over the last years, especially in capacity building for NAPA faculties, granting scholarships for NAPA’s students who have difficult financial conditions but perform excellent academic results. NAPA President emphasized the significance of continuing cooperation between NAPA and WUS Germany when the Academy is celebrating its 60^th anniversary and expanding its international cooperation activities for development and integration. He also requested WUS to continue support for NAPA in realization of the cooperative activities set under the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two sides. He expected WUS to support NAPA in inviting international experts to present at international conferences, workshops, seminars at NAPA and to teach in NAPA’s training courses for Vietnamese public officials and NAPA faculties; in contacting German partners to organize study trips for NAPA administrators, faculties, students.

Dr. Kambiz Ghawami, President of WUS and Dr. Bui Cong Tho, Chief Representative of Hessen Office in Vietnam expressed their satisfaction with the cooperation between the two sides and stated that they would support NAPA to implement cooperation programs with German partners.

NAPA President invited Dr. Kambiz Ghawami, President of WUS and Dr. Bui Cong Tho, Chief Representative of Hessen Office in Vietnam to NAPA’s 60^th  Anniversary Ceremony to be held on June 1^st, 2019.
