Principal of Normandie School of Management leads a delegation to visit the Ministry of Home Affairs, Viet Nam

On March 8, at MoHA headquarters, Vice Minister Vu Chien Thang had a courtesy call with the delegation led by Mr. Elian Pilvin, Principal and Director General of EM Normandie, to discuss the development of relations between the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) of Viet Nam and the EM Normandie in the near future.

Attending the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Tuan Ninh, Director General of the Department of Civil Servants – Public Employees; Mr. Chu Tuan Tu, Director General of the Department of International Cooperation; Dr. Nguyen Dang Que, Vice President of the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA); representatives of leaders and experts of the Office of the Ministry, Department of International Cooperation, and Department of Civil Servants – Public Employees.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Minister Vu Chien Thang was pleased to welcome Mr. Elian Pilvin and the delegation of EM Normandie to visit Viet Nam and work with the Ministry of Home Affairs. He appreciated the support and assistance of EM Normandie in organizing the first successful training course for young and female public leaders and managers of Vietnamese local government held in the city of Le Havre, French Republic in 2022.

Vice Minister Vu Chien Thang expected that EM Normandie and the National Academy of Public Administration would soon develop specific programs and plans to realize the Cooperation Agreement signed in September 2022. He also hoped that after this visit, the two parties would reach an agreement on the human resource training in civil service and the digital transformation of Viet Nam’s administration.

The Vice Minister believes that, besides the successes in work, Mr. Elian Pilvin and the delegation will have many fascinating experiences about the beauty and people of Viet Nam. 2023 is a year that Viet Nam and France celebrate the 50th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations and the 10th anniversary of bilateral strategic partnership; Vice Minister Vu Chien Thang wishes EM Normandie and MoHA will continue to develop and promote cooperation in training for public servants to a new level.

Mr. Elian Pilvin, Principal, Director General of EM Normandie would like to thank the warm welcome of Vice Minister Vu Chien Thang and MoHA for the delegation. He also appreciated MoHA for sending a delegation of young and female public leaders and managers of the local government of Viet Nam to study at EM Normandie in France.

Mr. Elian Pilvin said that EM Normandie will continue to collaborate closely with the National Academy of Public Administration in realizing the areas of the Cooperation Agreement signed in 2022.

Principal Elian Pilvin also agreed with the proposals of Vice Minister Vu Chien Thang and affirmed that EM Normandie would work directly with the National Academy of Public Administration to discuss and develop a specific cooperation program to achieve the goals that the two parties have signed.

* In the morning of the same day, Mr. Elian Pilvin visited and presented flowers to congratulate Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra on the occasion of International Women’s Day March 8, 2023.
