On June 25, 2020, NAPA solemnly held the opening ceremony of the public service recruitment examination in 2020.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Van, Dean, Faculty of Documents and Administrative Technology; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Hoang Mai, Director, Departmentof Graduate Training Management; Dr. Nguyen Quang Vinh, Editor-in-Chief, State Management Review; Dr. Nguyen TienHiep, Director, Departmentof Personnel and Organization; representatives from Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Public Security; members of the Recruitment Examination Council, the Supervision Board, the Test Paper Board, the Support Team and 214 candidates.
In order to get more human resources to meet therequirements of the assigned dutyperformance, to improve training, research and policy consultancy, and to strengthen its position and prestige, NAPA has developed a plan to organize the recruitment examination in 2020 to 112 employmentsof 26 job positions locatedin four campuses including the headquarter in Hanoi and branch campuses in Hue City, Tay Nguyen (in DakLak Province), and Ho Chi Minh City. NAPA publicized the recruitmentannouncement in the public media and received nearly 300 applications; 214 among 252 eligible candidatesregistered the recruitment examination.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the recruitment examination, Dr Dang Xuan Hoan, NAPA President emphasized that recruitment is the first decisive factor of the human resources quality of a body in the political system in general and NAPA in particular. Therefore, organizationshave paid special attention to recruitment examinations to select the best people who possess good personality, high qualifications and professional competence to meet the positionsrequirements and improve job performance.
This recruitment examination was held after a long time since the last one at NAPA and organized in accordance with the Government’s Decree No. 161/2018/ND-CP, the Ministry of Home Affairs’Circular No. 03/2019/TT-BNV. The recruitment examination has comprehensively changed in content, form, procedure, and assessment methods.The examination includes two rounds: the first round is computer-based tests of general knowledge test and English proficiency to assess the candidate’s basic competencies; the second round is an interview to assess the professional competency of the candidates to professional positions and a trial teaching test to assess the teaching competency of the candidates to lecturing positions. Those candidates who pass the first round are eligible to take the second one. The computer-based tests in round 1 ensures objectivity, fairness, transparency and reduces negative behaviors in the examination. The innovations in the examination is expected to assess fully, comprehensively, objectively, fairly and accurately the candidates’ competencies. The results of the two rounds and the recruitment results will soon be announced at the end of the examination as regulated.
Candidates are required to take the examination seriously and comply with the examination rules and regulations. At the same time, all members of the SupervisionBoard, Test Paper Board and Invigilation Board and the Support Team are demanded to work with high responsibility, objectiveness and transparency, complying with by the examinationregulations to select qualified candidates, contributing to NAPA’s development.
