On June 26th 2018, National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) and World University Service (WUS) in Germany attended the signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between NAPA and WUS.
Presented in the ceremony were Dr. Kambiz Ghwami, Chairman of WUS in Germany; Dr. Bui Cong Tho, representative of Hessen Office in Vietnam; Dr. Dang Xuan Hoan, NAPA President; Dr. Nguyen Dang Que, NAPA Vice President; NAPA staff and lecturers.
Dr. Dang Xuan Hoan emphasized the significance of capacity building of public officials in public administration, leadership and management as well as human resource development and research capacity to improve NAPA to meet the need of administrative reform and country renovation in the context of international integration. He also believed that the cooperation between NAPA and WUS in Germany will be strengthened, contributing to an integrity, enabling, acting and serving administration.
The MoU focused on 5 main areas of cooperation: (1) exchange of lecturers and professionals and training of trainers; (2) joint training programs for bachelor, master and doctor; (3) organizing leadership training programs; (4) joint research, seminar and workshop; (5) WUS introduces and sends international professionals to deliver lecture at NAPA.
Dr. Kambiz Ghawami affirmed that he will facilitate the international cooperation between Germany and NAPA.
