On January 25th 2018, National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) organized the opening ceremony for the 2nd doctoral and master training programs in 2017.
Presented in the ceremony were Dr. Dang Xuan Hoan, NAPA President; Dr. Vu Thanh Xuan, NAPA Vice President; NAPA staff and lecturers; and 173 students.

The 2nd master training program consists of 40 students in Constitutional and Administrative Law, 251 students in Public Management. The 2nd doctoral training program in Public Management admits 11 doctoral students including 3 Lao students.

Dr. Dang Xuan Hoan congratulated new students for their success in competitive admission to the graduate training programs at NAPA, a national leading center for official and civil servant training. NAPA President also emphasized study requirements for doctoral students who have to complete all required training modules; get approval for the thesis outline, the essay for literature review, three thematic essays; defend their doctoral thesis at department level and at institution level within 36 months. Master students are required to strictly follow the prescribed curriculum to ensure quality and timeline, complete all training modules and defend master thesis within 18 months. In addition, the President also mentioned responsibility of faculties and departments to provide support for students. The Faculty of Graduate Training has to set up good coordination with other units in graduate training management.
