On July 9th, 2019, the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) in collaboration with the Training Center for Economic and Planning Officials, the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) solemnly held the closing ceremony of the leadership and management training course for department-level managers of MPI. Attending the closing ceremony were from NAPA: Dr. Vu Thanh Xuan, NAPA President; Dr. Bui Huy Tung, Chief of NAPA’s Office, in charge of the Refersher Training Management Department; Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam, Deputy Head of the Executive Training Division, National Academy of Public Administration; from MPI: Mr. Nguyen The Ngan, General Director, Department of Organization and Personnel; Mr. Do Manh Khoi, General Director, Training Center for Economic and Planning Officials; and 45 course participants who are department-level leaders and managers of MPI.

In the closing speech, Dr. Vu Thanh Xuan, NAPA Vice President stated that department level leaders and managers should regularly take leadership and management training courses to acquire updated knowledge and skills to perform their tasks better. The training course content is designed to link with leadership and management positions, providing knowledge and skills in strategic thinking and skills for better performance. He hoped that the course participants would apply the knowledge and skills acquired in the course to their work, contributing to building a professional and modern public administration.
