On April 3, 2021, NAPA Branch Campus in Hue city held the Opening Ceremony of the training course for division-level leaders and managers (cohort 1 of 2021).
Attending the opening ceremony was Mr. Vu Van Minh, Deputy Chief Justice of the Provincial People’s Court, Thua Thien Hue province; Assoc. Nguyen Hoang Hien, Deputy Director General, NAPA Branch Campus in Hue city; NAPA’s lecturers and employees; and 38 course participants who are division-level leaders and managers, potential officials for the division-level leadership and management working at the Provincial People’s Court, Thua Thien Hue province, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Department of Science and Technology of Thua Thien Hue Province, non-business units under Thua Thien Hue Provincial People’s Committee, People’s Committee of Quang Dien District, People’s Committee of Duc Pho Town, Quang Ngai Province.

The course will last from April 3, 2021 to June 5, 2021 covering 12 topics in which 9 topics of leadership and management skills and 03 topics of thematic reports such as: Public administration reform and requirements for division-level leaders and managers; Division-level leadership in the context of international integration and the industrial revolution 4.0; Overview of leadership and management capacity of division-level leaders and managers; Human resource management and development skills, Planning and implementation skills; Meeting and event organization skills. The course participants are required to comply with NAPA’s training regulations and take a test and an end-of- the-course essay on management situation in their sector.

Speaking at the event, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Hien highlighted the role of training division-level leaders and managers with the goal of providing updated knowledge and basic skills in leadership and management to contribute to improving capacity of division-level leaders and managers in the process of public administration, international integration and building a socialist rule-of-law state. Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hien required the participants to fully engage in learning activities and expected a success of the training course.

Mr. Vu Van Minh highly appreciated support from NAPA Campus in Hue city for organizing the training course. He believed the course would provide the participants with knowledge and skills related to their positions, responsibility and tasks as public leaders and managers at division level.
The training courses will tentatively end by June 05, 2021.
