On November 21, 2020, NAPA Branch Campus in Hue City in collaboration with the Academy of Politics Region III organized the opening ceremony of the training course for public leaders and managers at division level in Da nang city.
Attending the ceremony was Dr. Vu Anh Tuan, Vice Rector, the Academy of Politics Region III; representatives from Organization and Personnel Department, Planning and Finance Department, the Academy of Politics Region III; Assoc.Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Hien, Deputy Director General, NAPA Branch Campus in Hue city; lecturers and course participants.
The training course is for 50 participants who are division heads, deputy heads working in the Academy of Politics Region III. The course will last from November 21, 2020 to January 09, 2021 and includes nine topics and three thematic reports: Overview of leadership and management capabilities of public leaders and managers at division level; The PAR and requirements for public leaders and managers at division level; Personnel management and development skills; Planning and implementation skills; Meeting and event organization skills, etc. The participants are required to complete a test and write a case study on management.
Speaking at the event, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Hien emphasized the training aims to update crucial skills in leadership and management for leaders and managers at division level to improve their performance capacity in the process of public administration reform, international integration and building a socialist rule-of-law state. Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hien expected all the courses participants to fully engage in learning activities.
Dr. Vu Anh Tuan, Vice Rector of the Academy of Politics Region III in Da Nang city highlighted the important role of the training in public servant quality improvement. He believed the course would enhance the participants’ understanding of their positions, responsibility and tasks as public leaders and managers at division level.
The training courses will tentatively end by January 9, 2021.
