On April 4th and April 5th 2017, National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) and Centre of High Studies of the French Home Ministry (CHEMI) co-organized training course for NAPA lecturers on E-learning curriculum and lecture design. The presenter of the training course were Mr. Oliver Laurens – Bernard, Former Governor, High ranking Advisor, CHEMI; and Mr. Alain Drai, Head of CHEMI E-learning and Event organization Department. Presented in the training course were 30 NAPA lecturers experienced in designing and teaching short course and position based training course atNAPA.
In the training course, NAPA lecturers had the opportunity to learn the basic of E-learning; benefit of E-learning for the institution, lecturers and students; required sections of an E-learning module… Besides, NAPA lectures were also presented about the role of actors taking part in E-learning process; the relationship between lecturers and technicians in E-learning. Especially, CHEMI professionals also shared experience in designing and organizing E-learning course and teaching module at CHEMI as well as answering many questions of NAPA lecturers.
NAPA lecturers also had the chance to design teaching modules during the development process of E-learning program for district level leaders. At the end of the training course, NAPA lecturers developed 9 modules of the E-learning program for district level leaders. With the support of CHEMI professionals, 9 modules of the E-learning program were posted on the experimental E-learning platform of NAPA (enapa).
CHEMI professionals appreciated the result of the training course as well as the ability and spirit of NAPA lecturers. They also emphasized the important of E-learning nowadays. CHEMI is proud to help NAPA develop its lecturers to be able to design and teaching E-learning program and they also stated that CHEMI wish to continue cooperation with NAPA in development of E-learning in the future.
