On November 20, 2020, NAPA Branch Campus in Hue City organized the opening ceremony of the training course for principal officials in Quang Dien District, Thua Thien Hue province.
Attending the event was Mr. Truong Duy Hai, Chairman of People’s Council; Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Vice Chairman of People’s Committee, Quang Dien District; Mr. Nguyen Anh Cau, Chairman of Propaganda and Training Commission, Director of the Politics Centre, Quang Dien District; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khanh, Head, Division of Home Affairs, Quang Dien District; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Hien, Deputy Director General, NAPA Branch Campus in Hue city; NAPA administrators and the course participants.
This is a training course for 50 participants who are heads, deputy heads and officials working in units under the People’s Committee of Quang Dien district. The course will lasts from November 20, 2020 to February 22, 2021 including 21 topics grouped into 3 sections: General knowledge of public administration (11 topics); State management by sector and territory (02 topics); key administrative skills (08 topics).The course participants are required to complete two tests and write a case study on their work. The knowledge provided in the course will enable them to update their knowledge of management for their better performance at work.
Speaking at the event, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Hien, Deputy Director General, NAPA Branch Campus in Hue city, emphasized the quality of public servant training is one of the most important factors to improve the quality of public servants’ performance. He required all the participants to actively engage in learning.
Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Vice Chairman of People’s Committee, Quang Dien District, acknowledged NAPA’s support for building capacity of local officials to meet the work requirement in the current period. He expected all the participants to apply what they learn into their work to improve their performance of the assigned tasks to serve the country’s development.
The course will tentatively end by February 20, 2021.
