On December 21, 2020, NAPA Branch Campus in Tay Nguyen held the opening ceremony of the training course on leadership and strategic management skills in the context of the industrial revolution 4.0.
Attending the ceremony was Dr. Joshua James, Lecturer, British University Vietnam; Dr. Thieu Huy Thuat, Deputy Director General, NAPA Branch Campus in Tay Nguyen; Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Cuc, Head, Division of Project and Joint International Training, Department of International Cooperation, NAPA; and the course participants
The course lasted 05 working days (from December 21, 2020 to December 25, 2020) with participation of lecturers from British University Vietnam and focused on the following issues: leadership and strategic management in the context of international integration; emotional intelligence, self-awareness and handling relations at work; multicultural communication and working with the press in the context of the industrial revolution 4.0; project management, cooperation strategy management and participation; change management skills.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Thieu Huy Thuat highly appreciated the support from NAPA leaders, cooperation of British University Vietnam’s lecturers, Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee, Dak Lak Department of Home Affairs and other provincial departments in organizing the training course. He expected that the course participants would fully engage in learning activities and acquired updated knowledge during their learning time.
In addition to the class lectures and discussion, NAPA and the British University Vietnam will set up working sessions to exchange information, promote mutual understanding, discuss administrative sciences, leadership and management from practical experience of the two countries. Further cooperation between the two institutions is expected in the future.
