Training course on skills for integration and working in the international environment for MOHA officials in 2021

On December 21, 2021, NAPA in collaboration with the Department of Personnel and Organization, MOHA conducted a training course on skills for integration and working in the international environment for MOHA officials in Vinh Phuc province.

Attending the opening ceremony was Mr Nguyen Huu Tuan – Director General, Department of Personnel and Organisation, MOHA; Mr. Nguyen Tien Dao – Standing Deputy Secretary, MOHA Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Dang Que – NAPA Executive Vice President; Mr. Nguyen Van Hau – Chief of Office of NAPA; Ms. Pham Thi Quynh Hoa – Director, International Cooperation Department; Mr. Duong Van Quang – former President, Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam, former Ambassador of Viet Nam to Singapore and UNESCO; presenters and 34  course participants from MOHA.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huu Tuan welcomed the participants to the training course and emphasized that the training course “Skills for integration and working in the international environment for MOHA officials” delivered by NAPA is of importance to build international integration capacity for MOHA officials and promote their proactiveness to the process of international integration, especially when Viet Nam needs to make use of the advantages of the digital era to promote international integration in the context of the world’s digital transformation and changes of development and international integration policies and strategies of all nations in response to the digital impacts.

At the training course, Mr. Duong Van Quang shared his exprerience in working in the international environment, in which he emphasized the identification of international environment in the trend of globalization. The international integration requires thinking innovation of foreign affairs, adaptation to the integration environment in the context of the world’s digital transformation. He expected the course participants to change their perception of the world, the region, the country’s international cooperation and diplomatic issues as well as its development in the period of international integration.

Within the framework of the training course, the course participants enjoyed a field trip at Vinh Phuc province – a good practice in taking advantage of international integration opportunities for development, changing from a purely agricultural area to a key center of industrial development of the country and becoming the leading province in the North in attracting investment and a member in the list of localities which make great contributions to the state budget.
