Closing ceremony of the Training class on management, construction, and development of high-quality human resources towards a professional and modern public service (Class 1, Class 2)

On August 2, 2024, at the Great Hall of NAPA Headquarters in Ha Noi, the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) held the closing ceremony of the training class on management, construction, and development of high-quality human resources towards a professional and modern public service (Class 1 and Class 2).

Attending the closing ceremony of the training course were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luong Thanh Cuong, NAPA Vice President; Ms. Nguyen Thi Lieu, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Ha Noi City; Dr. Bui Huy Tung, Director of the Refresher Training Management Department, NAPA; Ms. Le Phuong Thuy, Deputy Director of the Refresher Training Management Department, NAPA; Mr. Tran Quang Trung, Head, Division of Management of Civil Service Rank and Job-based Training, NAPA; leaders of NAPA units and the trainees of the training course.

The training course on management, construction and development of high-quality human resources towards a professional and modern public service (class 1 and class 2) for division-level public leaders in Ha Noi was organized at NAPA. During the course, the trainees were introduced to 23 topics and thematic reports from three groups of knowledge and skills. The class conducted 02 tests and 01 project report, and organized site visits to Gia Lam district, Hai Ba Trung district (Ha Noi), and Quang Ninh province.

At the end of the course, 94 trainees met the requirements to be awarded certificates of completion by the NAPA President, with 8 trainees achieving outstanding results and receiving commendations from the NAPA President.

In his speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luong Thanh Cuong noted that the training course, organized in collaboration with the Department of Home Affairs of Ha Noi, was held for two months. He expressed his hope that the knowledge and skills acquired during the training would enable the trainees to perform their assigned duties and responsibilities more effectively. On behalf of nearly 1,200 NAPA staff and employees across the North, Central, and South regions, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luong Thanh Cuong welcomed the trainees to future training programs of NAPA. He also extended his gratitude to the Ha Noi City Party Committee, the People’s Committee, and leaders of various departments, districts, and towns for facilitating the participation of the trainees in the course, and to the leadership of the Department of Home Affairs of Ha Noi for their cooperation in organizing the training.

On behalf of the Department of Home Affairs of Ha Noi, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lieu congratulated the trainees for completing the training course. She emphasized that this course was designed to enhance the quality of division-level public leaders in various agencies and units in Ha Noi. Ms. Nguyen Thi Lieu praised and highly appreciated the trainees’ spirit in balancing their study time and professional responsibilities. She also expressed her sincere thanks to NAPA for their responsible and effective collaboration with the Department of Home Affairs of Ha Noi in training and enhancing the capacity of public officials in the city.

On behalf of the training class, trainee Pham Khac Dien expressed his deepest gratitude and appreciation to the NAPA lecturers. Throughout the course, the entire class was enthusiastic in their studies and training, successfully meeting the NAPA’s requirements. The knowledge and skills accumulated during the training course serve as valuable assets for all trainees to continue their work, contribute, and apply effectively in practice to achieve the best results in their jobs, thereby contributing to the overall development of the agencies and organizations where they are employed.
