On April 16, 2021, NAPA solemnly held the Graduation Ceremony and conferred degrees to 29 newly graduated doctors and 355 masters in Hanoi. The ceremony was held via video conferencing between NAPA headquarter and its 3 branch campuses in Hue, Tay Nguyen, and Ho Chi Minh City.
Attending the ceremony, on the side of the Ministry of Home Affairs, was Assoc.Prof.Dr Trieu Van Cuong, Deputy Minister; Mr. Nguyen Duy Thang, Deputy Minister; Mr. Lai Duc Vuong, Director, Department of Cadres, Civil Servant and Public Employee Training; Ms. Nguyen Bich Thuy, Director, Department of Planning and Finance; Ms. Tran Thi Thai, Deputy Chief of Office. On the side of NAPA was Dr. Dang Xuan Hoan, NAPA President; Assoc. Prof.Dr. Luong Thanh Cuong, NAPA Vice President; Dr. Nguyen Dang Que, NAPA Vice President; representatives from NAPA departments and faculties; newly graduated doctors, masters and their colleagues and families.
Presenting a report on the results of the doctoral and master training NAPA, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Hoang Mai, Director of Department of Graduate Training Management stated that during 18 years of doctoral and 25 years of master training, NAPA has trained 178 doctoral students in Public Management and nearly 10,000 master students in Public Management, Public Policy, Finance and Banking, Constitutional Law and Administrative Law, State Management in Economic Affairs.
At the ceremony, 29 doctoral students and 355 master students (including Laos students) in Public Management, Public Policy, Finance and Banking, Constitutional Law and Administrative Law were conferred degrees by NAPA President. Training Laos students is a training cooperation between NAPA and Laos government, contributing to strengthening the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Laos in training programs.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Dang Xuan Hoan warmly congratulated the newly graduated doctors and masters for their success in academic research. He expected the doctoral and master graduates would develop their career after leaving NAPA and make their best efforts for further achievements. Dr. Dang Xuan Hoan expressed his sincere thanks for the new doctors and masters for choosing NAPA to spend their study and research.
On behalf of the graduates, Mr. Truong Quoc Viet and Mr. Tong Ngoc Dong expressed their deep gratitude to NAPA leaders and lecturers who enthusiastically supported their study and research during their learning time. They showed their determination to continuously improve their capacity and effectively apply what have been learned in their performance at work.
