On September 10th, 2019, the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) in collaboration with the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNUHCM) solemnly held the closing ceremony of the training course on leadership and management for department-level managers of VNUHCM
Attending the closing ceremony were from NAPA side: Assoc.Prof. Dr. Huynh Van Thoi, Deputy General Director of the NAPA Campus in Ho Chi Minh City; Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy, Deputy Head Division of Training Management, NAPA Campus in Ho Chi Minh City; from VNUHCM side: Assoc.Prof. Dr. Huynh Thanh Dat, Member of the Party Central Committee, VNUHCM President and 46 trainees who are VNUHCM leaders and managers.
The course lasted from July 16th, 2019 to August 12th, 2019, combining lectures and a field trip. Trainees were required to develop a proposal at the end of the course.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Huynh Van Thoi, Deputy General Director of NAPA Campus in Ho Chi Minh City congratulated the trainees for completion of the course. He emphasized that the training on leadership and management is crucial for the leaders and managers at the department level who assume the tasks of advising and assisting the ministers in state management of the respective fields, providing them with updated knowledge, skills and methods to perform their tasks in the best way. He expected trainees will apply the provided knowledge and skills on management and leadership to their practice.
