Training course on public management for Laos public officials

On December 26th 2017, National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) organized closing ceremony of the training course on public management for Laos public officials.

Presented in the ceremony were Dr. Vu Thanh Xuan, NAPA Vice President; representatives from Ministries and Departments; NAPA staff and lecturers; Laos participants.

Dr. Vu Thanh Xuan emphasized that it is honored for NAPA to provide training courses for Laos public officials. He appreciated learning efforts of course participants. The successful training courses contribute to friendship and cooperation between the two countries. It is also an opportunity for officials of the two countries to learn and share experience in the field of public administration and high quality human resources development of each country. On behalf of the course participants, Mr. Deng Pathumthong, Mayor, highlighted the gained knowledge and skills on state management, systematic management of economic and social fields.  and the high applicability of the knowledge, skills into practical work. Mr. Pathumthong also expressed his gratitude to the leaders of the Ministry of Home Affairs, NAPA leaders and staff for supporting Lao delegation during their stay in Vietnam.

The training course was held for two months from October 26th to December 26th 2017. During the training course, Lao students studied 18 subjects related to state and law; administrative management; basic management skills development, etc. In addition, Lao participants also had the study visit to some northern provinces including Hung Yen, Tuyen Quang and Thai Binh.
